Volunteering does have its rewards! The Lions were treated to dinner at the Senior Center as a thank you for taking on the job of painting the facility.

The Lions adopted the Trafford Road plot as part of the Rt. 22 Beautification Program. This was the diagram we submitted to the Municipality.

Spin Art at Murrysville's Community Day continues to be a favorite activity. Enjoyed both by the kids, parents and the Lions.

In October of 2006 the Lions held their Annual White Cane Days. A fundraiser that reminds the public about the issues facing the blind in the area.

November 2006 was Youth Month as the Lions hosted Tommy Brown, recipient of a campership to Beacon Lodge Camp for the Blind & Irene Pien, Nov. Student of the Month.

In February of 2007 the Club held its IV Annual Chili Bowl. This is one of our major fundraisers. We served a hearty meal to all who came... just in time for the Super Bowl!

May is Recycle for Sight Month. The Lions joined the Rotary Club to provide free eyesight and hearing screening. |
